I'm not sure about leaks, but here's another solution for your antenna. [Broken External Image]: I ran it out the door jamb, and up the molding for the windshield. no leaks. Reception is fine. Just a suggestion in case it is actually leaking water through the third brake light assembly.

I plan on paying my 04 off and driving it for as long as possible... I'm not even thinking about the 07, or else I'll get the "itch," and that's not good... I need to be more content!

My dealership had it in 2-3 days... Mine was under original warranty, couldn't tell you about the Ford ESP...

yeah, I got mine replaced a couple of months back covered by my warranty. The new one doesn't have that rubbery texture to it, so I know it won't peel like the old one did. Hurray for warranties!

His question was plug wires... but yes, I put motorcraft plugs in mine with the taylor wires....

I put Taylors on mine from Summit Racing. Just watch the part number though, the ones listed for the trac are wrong. You need the ones listed for the Explorer, part number 72632. these are the ones for the SOHC, the ones listed for the trac are for the OHV 4.0L.

personally...I would sink $4,000 dropping in a 4.6L V8 before I supercharged my trac.... but that's just me....I don't know if it can be done with 4k, but I imagine it could be....

It may be okay not to change it, but why not? It's only a few extra bucks.. I change mine every time I change my oil (3,000 miles)

my bezel was replaced under warranty. my new one won't peel, I can tell by the texture....it's not rubbery feeling like the old one.
