Yea, I was trying it from the down position. Only prob then was getting it back down for every attempt. PIA. lol

I am pretty sure I read this here before, but now I can not find it. I thought I read that someone had rewired their rear 'tailgate' window, to bypass the logic sequences. Thus making it react like any normal power window... hold up or down, and let go of the switch for the window to stop...

Ok. I tore out the regulator, and ordered a new one (as the motor sounded like it was trying to respond to the initialization). I installed the new regulator, and attempted to initialize it. I went through the procedure, and the window went up, but then no more response. Also, when I started...

Thanks for the info. I tore it apart today, and think I hear the motor try to respond to the initialization, but my window is stuck all the way up. I can't figure out how to get it down. It seems to be jammed up.

TY Kyle. I have three different sets of initialization instructions, each slightly different. Now I guess 4 with 'start with the window down'. lol

Sorry, was outta town. The hand appeared to be all the way in, but with the broken part inside, it actually wasn't.. once I held it in, it locked/unlocked fine, until I got it replaced.

Ditto. Not only a little more distance, but, a clearer, whiter view. No yellow cast as with some standard bulbs.

These are the ones that I used, and I love them.. I used colored ones.

I had the same problem. There was a link mount that broke on the inside, but.. try holding the handle in, and see if the lock works. My problem was that the door handle wouldn't go all the way back into place, and prevented it from locking/unlocking. As long as I held the hand in, the fob...

I'm not sure if it's the same.. but my car has the same thing. It's a passive system that simply disables the radio if it's removed. The light is a deterrent to would be thieves, that the radio will not work if they take it. Dealers have the codes to reactivate them if they accidentally trip...

I know this topic has been touched on, but I couldn't find anyone that answered it. Where/how is the best place/way to tap in for the sending unit of a tranny temp gauge? I'd love to hear how other's have done it. I have no other than the stock cooling.

I'm assuming all the door keypads are the same, but, I know on mine, to open all the doors instead of just the driver door, you only need to hit the last digit two times, not repeat the whole code. My driver door (01) did the same thing, the plastic links inside broke, and it would not unlock...
