    Wanted Adrenalin Tailgate emblem

Check ebay. That's where I got mine three years ago. Looks great. No problem with it.

    sale item for 07 limited

Hey Kenneth I live in NC but am passing through Tuscaloosa on Dec. 27th and Jan 3 going to and from New Orleans. How much for the bumper? Any chance you have it off for pickup then?

    PCV Valve location

I just did mine this summer. $30 at Tasca. Wasn't hard at all. One hose clamp and a plug. Twisted old one out with pliers. New one went in easy. Less than thirty minutes. Could be more difficult if you are short and can't reach the back of the engine.

    badging aftermarket grille

Just get one of the ovals that have the three threaded studs. Find where it fits in the gaps in the grill and install.

    Plug Wires

Hey guys need to change the plug wires for the first time. Does anyone know the lengths of the wires on the 4.0L V6? The Autolite Professionals are 20, 26, 29, 32, 35, 41 inches and the Motorcraft are 18, 25, 27, 30, 33, 37.

    Mechanical Oil Presure gauge Intallation

Pump was a bad word. And I left out "read" before change. Regardless the statement is correct. There is no oil "transferred" into the oil pressure gauge. L1 is correct. Without a vent at the end of the hose or tube there won't be oil in the hose. That being said given the choice I will...

    painted cladding with bed liner

Looks good. But I am curious to see how it holds up. I took the broken bed cap I replaced a few months ago and did the same thing to it. Kind of an experiment to see if it would stick. I used duplicolor bedliner spray. It looked good. left it out in the rain and sun for about three days...

    Mechanical Oil Presure gauge Intallation

Since when do oil pressure gauges pump oil in the hose? I have installed tons of them on race boats. They change the barometric pressure in the tube. They are really air pressure gauges.

    PCV Valve Change

Thanks firedog. Do you have to lift the tabs at all? Or will they spin right out? And yes I saw the projects page. But that is a Gen one with a liquid heated valve as opposed to the Gen 2 electric heated valve. I now realize the valve body is basically the same. But the project list...

    PCV Valve Change

I need to change my PCV valve on the Gen 2 4.0L. I have located the valve on the back of the driver side valve cover. It's like the guy from Where's Waldo planned on where to put that thing. Hose and plug simple enough. Question is the new valve looks to have a tooth on each side that would keep...

    Factory Tonneau Cover Lock Covers

You do not have to buy the locks too. The part comes with the rubber cover and the base plate with the two threaded studs. You reuse the lock cylinder. Which is good because you don't have to rekey anything. The covers list at my local dealership for $127 and they can't get them. I got mine...

    4x2 Ok In Snow?

I rode around a 2WD Ford Ranger for years. Threw two bags of quickrete in the back and rolled on. So +1 on the cargo weight. I would take that thing anywhere. But it had good traction on the tires. My ST has good street tires but got me stuck in my own ditch unloading a lawn mower the other...

    Factory Tonneau Cover Lock Covers

I should have mentioned that this is specific to the Gen2.

    Factory Tonneau Cover Lock Covers

Hey guys seen a lot of bad or misinformation about the rubber lock covers around. Heard they were out of stock. Seen wrong part numbers listed. I just installed mine yesterday. Got mine from fords-part-depot on ebay. Came in the original ford parts box. The part is exactly the same. Part...

    charge battery or replace it?

I would buy that battery if he lived anywhere closer than Chicago. I am a fellow member of the wolfpack. I would put that battery in my own truck, ride it, and post updates on how long it lasts. Ditto on Richards comments. And as I said earlier carbon pile battery testers are almost...

2003 Sport Trac with intermittent start issue

I agree with everything said. Particularly the part about trying the fuel filter first if it hasn't been changed at regular intervals.

    charge battery or replace it?

You guys are missing the obvious. The starter is working normally. If there was a voltage drop the starter would lag. Point blank. And yes I know Ohms law. The resistance of the starter is constant. Potentially the resistance of the solution is what would change reducing the ampacity of...

    charge battery or replace it?

I have to disagree with you Eddie. The ability of the battery to produce current isn't going to change the voltage drop at the starter. The resistance of the starter, the wire to it, and its connection didn't change. The resistance of the battery increased by lead calcifying to the plates...

    charge battery or replace it?

Ohhhhhh...... you didn't say that earlier. I think everyone here assumed you were having a problem with it. If your battery works don't worry about it. The cold is over in IL for now. Take it to Advance or Autozone or anyone else not trying to get you back I nthe shop and have it rechecked...

    charge battery or replace it?

Trickle chargers are designed to bring a good battery up to full charge. Your battery is bad. Charging it won't change the CCA rating. Trash it.
