Anyone work on projection screen TV's?

I have a RCA projection screen TV and the screen is scratched. When I took it off I noticed a 3/16 thick clear plastic with a cover that had the small lines scotched taped on it. That is what is scratched. How and where do I find a replacement for this? Any help will be gratefull! Thanks to anyone that can help!!!!!!

Sounds like a frensel lense. Should be a this piece of rigid plastic with vertical lines running through it, may be clear or black in the lines. I had a piece of metal fall into my 60" and had no outer screen protector installed. The lense was around $500 and then I invested in a screen protector. I would take it in to a tv repair shop because they sold me the clear lense and I needed black lines in mine and had to take the tv in anyway to proove it to them.
