Axle code - Gear ratio?

I have a 2007 ST with P245/65R17 tires.....the axle code on the sticker is 45......Does anyone know what the gear ratio is?

Do a search. There is a huge amout of info out there on this. Here is one that coastie posts how to find it.

Don't see axle code 45......might be a 46, I had the wife read it to me over the phone....she says it is real small.

those axle codes are for 01-05 ST's

Yeah, they're a PITA to read. I didn't notice that you had an '07. Sorry, I'm not sure if those codes will work for you.:wacko:

The only ratio for the '07's is the 3.73. They don't list an option for the 4.10 on thier site.

The 07 ratios are



V6 3.73:1

V8 3.55:1



The gearing in the tranny is so high that you don't need to change the rearend ratio to a numerically higher number

Thanks Todd.......3.55 is the only gearing I could find listed anywhere for the V-8.
