Canadian Rancho RSX Shock Story....

Well I am starting to lose my mind.... Why do I have to get screwed so bad my a Canadian Reseller if I want these Shocks for an 04 Sport Trac???



I go to Rancho's Website and pull up the locale dealers and called about 6 of them... 4 of them tell me that they can't get the RSX shock because the Canadian Distributor doesn't carry them and the other 2 tell me that there is no Stock but they can get them for me... but the cost now is $189.99/per shock.... I actually spit out my coffee when the guy told me this...

I asked him how this could be when they are being sold on US Sites for $48 per shock and a set of 4 is $200. He said well thats the price you pay to be living North of the Border... I wish I could have smacked the guy through the phone...



Does anyone know of a site in the states that will ship to Canada?? 4x4 Store says they will not ship to Canada.



Wondering if call Rancho and explaining how stupid it is regarding the price difference between the US and Canada and if that might help me out some way??



Any one have any kind of help??

Why dont you save yourself the headache and get Monroe Reflex's. Thats what I got and Im in edmonton Alberta. RSX's and Reflex's are the same shock, made in the same factory.

I read somewhere that they are not 100% the same shock.... Is that true? If thats the case I can get the reflex from Autoparts for $89CDN/per shock...

Anyone know of a place to get it cheaper?

Same style shocks except the Monroes have a metal top cover and the Rancho's have a rubber boot top cover. (which I like)

the only "benefit" (if thats what you want to call it) is that you can change the rubber boot color if you like....

Goto Crappy tire, they sell them.





And if you really want then that cheaply drive over to Buffalo/Niagara Falls and get them installed.
