if yall remember my last post, my car started acting up. idle and dieing randomly in traffice (once a month)

so i changed out the sparkplug and wires. then the car really started to missfire, so i changed out the sparkplug wires again (different brand). . .now theres a louder ticking/pinging noise. Bad idle, dies if rpms drop.

the machanic said the valve prolly dropped.

anyways I got my xplorer checked out at autozone, and the machine said

p0304, p0305 ?

which meant that both cylinder 4 & 5 is missfiring, and code p0157 which said something like running rich caused in BANK 2 ?

i checked the firing setup and the wires are correct.

so now I'm thinking of changing the 2 sparkplugs in 4 & 5. . . but i highly doubt thats the cause -- and other solutions?

ya think Ford will charge an arm&leg for diagnois ? do yall know if FORD extended warrenty on 2000 Explorer XLT drive tran/engine?? i'm at 99172 miles haha.

Running rich is a common code. In almost every case the problem has been this vacuum hose...

This could cause a miss-fire depending on how bad the leak is. So for sure check it out before you go nuts on plugs and wires and what not..

THANK you for the picture too! haha I will check tomorrow ASAP, I hope the machanic didn't nick this to get extra mola.
