Going down to New Orleans for Relief Help

Hey all, just leting everyone know that i am going down to New Orleans for some relief help. I am loading up the Trac with water, blankets,clothes and non perishable foods. I hope to be down there for a good 2 weeks. So on that note i will see or talk to you all in 2 weeks.

working down here as i type city is cleaning up well some of down town has power if you are around the harras casino area look across canal st. at the high rise building and you will see my trac parked you in front of the building stop in and say hello.

I was in Mobile over Labor Day and returning to Gulfport Oct 1 - 15. If you have never done disaster relief, prepare yourself for every reaction from hostility to numb silence to gratitude that will make you blush for a year.

You are wasting your time. We have enough down here now. We also have enough crime and I would hate to see something happen to you. You should go to Mississippi such as Long Beach.....that is where the help is really needed! Since the troops are here what is needed is time and money to rebuild. But if you really want to help......shoot some of those worthless FEMA guys!!!

I have to echo what km5er said. You would be better off going to Mississippi. Thanks to a bunch of crying poor people, New Orleans has gotten all the attention but other areas have been hurt just as bad if not worse. Either way, best of luck and be careful.

Hey all I am back, Due to a death in the family i couldnt stay the alloted 2 weeks i had. I got back today Sept 17 2005. It was bad down there. I went to Mississippi and dropped off some things as well. I cant say anyone is worse off then someone else becuase it happened all down there. Everyone needs help and not just one person is getting it. Everyone bringing flack to this topic should be ashamed becuase what are you doing to help down there. I took time outta my life and went down there to make a little difference and ya know what I left outta there a happy person because i know I made one or two familys a litte happier. Im not trying to say noone is doing anything but comeone folks, yeah i know i said folks lol but serious, everyone down there needs help. If everyone can come together on 9-11 then i cant see why we cant do it down there. Im done rambling
