...people don't realize they don't have the right not to be offended...I laugh at rice all the time, and I usually get the bird, or they revv the coffee can up, but when I rev back, their windows go up...

Derek,

He tried cutting me of entering a construction zone. The left lane was designed for turning into the buisnesses there andf the right lane is for crossing the bridge. People think that they are going to save time by getting in the left lane, then "hole shooting" to get in front of them. It isn't that the guy was trying to prove at point at that point. As usual, whenever someone tried to do that, but gets nailed, they do the usual. Sit behind you then fly past you once they are out of the zone.

As I said, I thought it was funny that he flipped me off. Sure they have the right to buy anything they want. I have the right to laugh, and as Jeff puts it, they don't have the right not to be offended.

I laugh at those idiots that have the giant wings on the back of a Hyundai Sonata 4 door. That is just plain stupid.

Tom

Caymen,

All you did was point and laugh, I think the guy that actually took it personal had the problem. He could have held up a sign that said, "it's the thought that counts" :)

I've never had anyone say my Trac was ugly. Infact, side by side to a Nissan or the like, people like mine better. (Even the owners of them.)

:)

I have never had as many compliments about my vehicle as I have with my Trac. I would get many compliments about the color of my Escort GT and once in a while I would get a compliment that the Escort is sporty looking.

The Trac gets nothing but attention. I get the comments like, "That is one sweet truck" to "What the heck is that? Where can I get one?"

In Europe thy had the Escort Cosworth. AWD, 250+ HP, very fast. Sporty, you bet!!! Did not look like the US Escorts.

In Australia the Escort, like the one pictured above, was called the Laser TX3. AWD, 210 HP turbo charged 4 cylinder. The USA could have built the same thing here, but due to the more stringent EPA and a vehicle called the Mustang, Ford chose not to.

I don't blame the guy for flipping you a bird. What you did just instigates road rage... you must be proud.

Caymen, sure doesn't look like the US Escorts but its' the exact color of my LX

I like that style, nice for an Escort.

GM,

That is a US Escort. It is my 1992 Escort GT. My 1996 Escort GT is the same bodystyle. The spoiler, wheels, and ground effects are a little different, but it is the same vehicle nonetheless.

The Color is Cayman green. That is where I got my name from. The reason why I went with Caymen is because when I first used Cayman, I got a bunch of men over ICQ that were interested in me because they read it as "Gayman".

I fixed that pretty quick.

:lol::lol::lol::lol: *shaking my head at you* LOL

Point and laugh :p

My blower has more displacement than my wifes car. But my wife car gets 4 times the mpg. I see nothing wrong with an xA. I would even have an xB, but paint it up like a lunch box complete with handle and flip lock.

Same here, Erik... I'd like to have a xB.... the interior room is great for such a small car. The only thing that bothers me about that ride is Scion uses the 1.5L engine from the Echo. The xB would do a lot better with the 1.8L Corolla engine or even better with the 2.4L Camry engine.

I know the ST is a sharp ride as I have had many people whom I have never meet before but have said simply "that is a realy nice ride"
