I normally keep my mouth shut on things like this, But I guess I got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning...

I have noticed lately a lot of things here, But one allways gets me...

People ask for advice on shocks, chips, tuners, hitches, paint, light bulbs, ect.

This site Gives great advice as to the correct direction and product to use, negativies and positives of that or those products. Which Is why I love the diverse crowd we have here.

Then the person asking goes and buys an inferior product, cheeper product, or some other knock off and has nothing but problems.

Then they come back to the site asking for help, and when they dont like what they hear, they dont respond, or get angry...

IS it just me, Or any one else notice this???

May be me, But had to ask???

Some people wouldn't be happy "working in a pie factory". Don't let them get you down. I've always found that when things start getting to me, I can go out and do a big, smoky burnout and things instantly get better. :D

it's ok... just relax...

altough it is true that from time to time users have to tell other users: "I told you so"... what fun would it be if everything we install in our cars work ok the 1st time??? then there would not sites like this.

besides, if some people get the cheap stuff, and try it... the rest of us can have a better grasp of what's out there, and what really does/doesn't work... without running the risk of ruinnnnning our trucks, right???

the good part about all this is that after somebody gets to say: "I told you not to buy that $30 performance chip a.k.a resistor" then, we can put our heads together to see how to fix it.

I guess it really could come down to what you want out of this site... some poeple just don't have anything to do... so they just try to install a mustang motor into their x sprt, others with real lifes try get the same results but with less money/time/expertieseseses/etc. to play...

ah! ah! I don't know what i'm saying

oh... b.t.w. i saw a motto that i really liked... in one other forums... might've been one of you guys... a wiseman once said: "buy expenssive and cry once, buy cheap and keep one crying..."

kool, huh!

May be the 10 days of constant rain...:-( :(:(

I like " I am not rich enough to be cheep"...

lack of sunlight does that to you. I like splashing around in the trac but this is getting downright depressing.

I need to go increase my fiber intake.

Tanning, You have not seen me lately have you....:p

Todd, doesn't sound like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed, sounds more like you woke up on the couch! :p

Seriously, it's got to be this friggin (can I say that on here?) rain. I'm ready to get in my trac and drive to the first place that has sun!

As a fairly new addition to the site, I have to say that the iformation provided by you guys has been immensly helpfull. I do read the posts and follow recommendations that other members post. Thanks to the suggestions of many members I just replaced my factory shocks with Monroe Sensa-trac shocks (buy 3, get the 4th free) and couldn't be happier. I even used the notes from members projects to walk me thru the process. I also have to give a BIG thank you to member Bill Kraft for helping me with technical questions regarding installing an Ipod interface into a 2001 model with the Audiophile radio. Without this site's help and the help of fellow members, these projects would have been much more difficult. So a big thanks to all of you!:D
