krylon fusion

Just wondering if anyone used the fusion paint to do the cladding; If so how did it come out ?

There was a couple that did, BUT most have switched to adhesion promoter and "bumper and cladding" paint in the cans..

I'm not sure if krylon fusion has the same color as your ST. If you're going for a two-tone look then you may be in business.



I, however, went with adhesion promoter (bully dog?) followed by Duplicolor (which has the color match to my ST). Two years now, and no problems whatsoever. The first piece that I did (driver's side cladding) was the worst; lots of overspray. I learned my lesson, and every subsequent piece looks like it was painted that way at the factory.



I'd do that project again in a heartbeat. It really changes the overall look of the ST.
