We are headed to MI in a couple of weeks and I would like to see if we can get together on our way back, which would be the weekend of July 2nd or 3rd. The only problem is we are planning on taking my car (because of gas milage) so it will be a tough squeeze to fit it in the trunk if it's even possible. Does the extender come apart at all?
