This will be the first time in the shop for my 07 :(. The lumbar support made a snapping sound and went flat. Has this happened to any body else, known issue? Thanks

Yup, do a search, there was a whole list of people with this problem.

here:

thats why i will always wait for to buy a new model year. sorry to hear fellas. hope it gets fixed quickly

Dan: Personally I don't think that is a true issue. My 01 Job 1 ST had minimal problems (3 total, all minor). My 03 was a lemon, the thing was a wreck, it wouldn't go 6000 miles before something else went wrong. I got rid of it when the warranty ran out.

Yes, mine broke too. Parts on back order. It's been over a month. Kind of a bummer on something so new. Still fun to drive.

Wow! No problems on mine. I have almost 14k miles on it, but I don't play with the lumbar support much. I set it when I got it and moved it forward and back a few times on a long trip to help ease the fatigue of driving, but overall no problems.

The dealer called. Part was in to fix seat. We have been waiting for a month.

picked up a Ford fusion as a loaner.

They call later to say the got the wrong part.

Picked up St, took it home, while the part is on back order for the 2nd time.

Have you driven a Ford lately?

Yes, John!

About 20 minutes ago on the way home from work!

('05 Trac, 24,378 miles, just minor issues, so far, all fixed under warranty by Sloan

Ford!). :D
