I'm well aware of the lack of ponies that the two Ford trucks that I drove daily have; but I also know what real power is. Three-hundred HP is puny for a 5,000lbs vehicle. I'm not illusioned by the sense of 'speed' that one gets in a truck. But then again, I don't think they are fast, and I do'nt care that they aren't.
If things go according to plan, my next vehicle purchase will have 250 HP (crank) in a 2700lbs car, which I will boost up to near 500 HP (rear wheel), if it all goes according to plan, of course. That first good oversteering corner I take, I'll let you know as to the deposits left in my pants.
And yes, I do envy that orange SVTF, except for the FWD. Dang FWD.
