That would be the non-union scabs that built the rubber seal during a strike when the union employees wanted a raise to keep up with inflation and the rubber company was making record profits.

You know, I've often wondered about those vaults that come with rubber seals that have a lifetime guarantee. Wonder if anyone has ever returned one under warranty?
