lol the article is written like no auto manufacturer has made such a vehicle... kinda reminds me of the 'new' DVR from Directv... "freeze live TV"... hell they've been doing that for years with their Tivo unit.

When Speed Channel tested the Ridgeline they gave it above avg marks for looks. Okay for interior and if you want to take it offroad buy something else.

Thanks,

SST

Gee, maybe someone should contact her and let her know that the ST has been around for a few years longer then the Ridgeline and has all of those features plus looks a heck of a lot nicer then that thing

I have an 01 ST, my sister just leased an 06 Ridgeline. It is very nice. It is also damn ugly.

There are a few odd things about it as well. The 4wd system is a bit annoying. You can't lock it in manually, it goes in automatically. After it has engaged, I think it can be locked in. I drove it around a snowy parking lot for a few minutes over the weekend (family get-together) and you could easily loose control or be stuck before the 4wd system decides to come in.

I didn't like that aspect of it at all. Much prefer the manual lock on other trucks, including the ST. Other than that, it is a very nice truck to drive. Still ugly; but, beauty is in the eye, I suppose.

>> Who would actually care about a vehicle review by a soccer mom? I doubt she could even find the dipstick on a vehicle. lol

Oh, I dunno, I care about the soccer mom opinion on a lot of things:

- Best take-out places to call for dinner

- Best bon-bon flavors

- Easiest makeup to put on while driving

- How to best take up two parking spaces, every time

- How best to totally ignore 3 or more screaming children in public

And a ton of other interesting tidbits of knowledge and wisdom.

TJR

(I am joking, BTW)

Good ones TJR!

How about this one:

- How to block an entire aisle at Wal-Mart with nothing but a single cart and an all-important cell phone call while your children run screaming down the aisle?

Saw my first Ridgeline and wow honda did a excellent job at stealing the avalanche curb appeal. But if the japanese build it some idoit will buy it and claim its the bestest bestest thing in the whole world and kudos to honda for designing the worlds first 4 door pick up.
