roof rails

I know this has been posted before but I cannot find it. What does everybody suggest for cleaning wax off off of the roof rails? If somebody can just provide a link to the previous discussion, that would be good enough. thanks

Peanut butter works wonders.

You may want to try a soft bristled tooth brush. Since it's on plastic a stiff bristle may work better.

use a gum eraser - it cost about $1.50 for 2 erasers and can be found just about anywhere. I bought mine at target in the school suplies section.

can also use on black trim and all grey plastic trim on the bottom of the trac.

Yup. A gum eraser works every time!

Remember that when you use peanut butter always use smooth, not chunky. Chunky does not work near as well.

I detailed all the black trim (including roof rails) on my truck a couple of weeks ago using Mother's "Back to Black". Follow directions and it'll make all the white disappear. I used a 1" wide sponge brush to apply the stuff instead of a cloth...made the entire job easier.
