The whole country is so wrapped up with the high gas prices. People lined up in Atlanta and Charlotte to fill their tanks up before gas ran out, in effect causing gas to be used up. Everyone is in the blame game-blaming Bush and Cheney and the republican party for that matter. Everyone talkssabout what we should do, days we shouldn't buy gas days we should. This is excitement. I don't care what you say-on this matter everyone has an opinion, my self included.
Gas prices were already too high in my opinion-mostly from greedy oil companies-and countries that enjoy sticking it to us. However when you tie in the hurricane and the fact that the world is using much more gas than ever before and that really factors in. Everyone panicing and running out and topping off their vehicles and gas cans-contributed because of simple supply and demand-economics 101 like in high school.
Bush has let the reserves flow, and is legalizing using non-american ships to get oil to us and within a couple weeks the damaged refineries should be back to normal. Congress is suppose to try to see that refineries will be more strategically placed in more places. So it will be awhile. I say sit back like I do and get a laugh from all these posts-even though t the pump you sweat like everyone else. I'm not suggesting that there is no price gouging(however you spell that) but unfortunately thats nothing new-and by what I understand un less you're in a area of national disaster its legal. Guess we just gotta grin and bare it-lol
