Is there anyway to stop the rattleing sound?? And dose it hurt anything making the sound that it makes?? Mine isnt bad but i have heard of them getting worse.. B/W my trukc has 96,000 miles on it....

does it do it all the time... i had the repair done to mine, but the noise came back 6 months latter.. i only have 50K miles on my 01 and its only when the engine is cold.. it goes away about 15 minutes after engine start...

I hear some sort of ticking sound its not loud are nothin its just stays the same gets some what louder when i give it gas but not bad..Just wanting to know..

Try using 10w30 motor oil now....

I did that sat at the shop put in Castrol 10w/30 highmileage..

Get it changed out. I didn't do it on my '02 and it broke... destroyed the engine. I only had 69,000 miles on it.
