I went to the Ford dealer and asked them for the TSB's for my 2003 2wd ST and he said there were only 2.

By reading here there seems to be a bunch more. Is there a list anywhere so I can get everything taken care of?

Thanks

wow thanks

will they fix these if I bring the list in?

I have brake sqeak bad. Bulletin Number: 16879

if your are within your coverage plan AND you actually have the issue Ford will service it for free. Out of coverage you pay out of your pocket...

I am over the original 36k....can you get an extened warranty after the initial runs out?

A TSB, in itself, does not mean that something needs to be fixed on your ST. When I look at the list of 2004 TSB's, only one affected me...the trans fluid additive. So a dealer isn't going to check for each item.....you have to present the ST to them with a valid problem that they can verify.

I can only see a couple that I have. But for the dealer to tell me that there are no other TSBs but the 2 they told me about is complete BS. I jsut want to have somehting to back it up when I walk in there next time.

But they will not fix a TSB if I am over warranty? That doesn't seem right. What if it came out and they never told me?

I may be off here but I think a TSB is just a heads up note to the dealers to tell them how to fix something or why something needs fixing in the first place. It is not a recall of a defective part.

grump

Grump is correct. Except for the tranny additive RECALL that affected nearly all 04's and some 05's, a TSB is a notice that details the corrective action required for a common but not necessarily wide spread problem that has been noted by dealer repair shops. As I stated, of all the TSB's for 04's, only the tranny additive recall affected mine. Knowing what TSB's were issued is good info, but a TSB does not mean that something has to be fixed.
