On the other side of the coin, when my daughter got her license and was driving my ST, she was often asked for rides by boys! I trusted her enough with driving it but after learning about this fact, I got her her own car. (Not a truck)

Yeah, I got a haircut last week and the girl doing the cutting asked me if I wanted to keep my sideburns. I told her do whatever she thinks to keep me from looking hideous. She said "Oh, that isn't caused by your sideburns".

Truth.

Dang.. I get lots of compliments on my ST, but never a phone number because of it....

Well actually that's not totally the truth, because I did get a phone num from a guy who saw my ST on here (well actually the Bronco in the library, but the only reason he went to this site was because fo the ST - heh).

The sad thing is, when I was Jeff C's age and cruising for chicks, I was driving a Gremlin.

76 Pacer here...

Why do I love my ST? Because the 4wd doesn't work when I need it to... Because the tranny needs $1000 worth of work, and the truck's only got 80k on it... And because I NEVER get any phone #'s from ANYONE when I drive around in it! damn....

LOL. The last time I had to get a shot from a nurse, she could tell I wasn't too fond of shots. I wasn't shaking or nervous, but I made the mistake of asking if it has that 'paralyzing effect' of the shoulder that some shots give. The woman, probably mid 60s, told me, "Oh, roll up your sleeve and don't be a little girl."
