    Ford Fusion vs. Toyota RAV4

We are looking at the Honda CR-V AWD. It looks hard to beat for the money and our local dealer is selling them at invoice + $100. It's only a 4 banger but is rated at EPA 27 mpg on the hwy.

    Spark Plugs NEVER AGAIN!

I had a 1967 Chevy Impala Station Wagon with a 396 in it. I always had to pull the right front wheel to change the front plugs. OldGuy

    Gas gauge not reading

That also happed to my 2004 Sport Trac. Next the mileage indicator flashed that I was out of gas. I was in month 35 of my 36 month warrenty period and the dealer replaced the entire sending unit. Everything went back to normal! Good luck! Oldguy

Thanks SeattleSportTrac, the EXPLORER badging is now gone... after polishing the area you can't tell it was ever there! My NM vehicle registration lists it as a Ford passenger car without using the word EXPLORER, the door stickers say its a pickup truck, only my insurance company "Proof of...

When you examine total Ford Explorer production over the years it has to amount to more than several million vehicles of one form or another. To thumb your nose at that large of consumers group tells me that your business sense is less than good. Their internal management style emulates Dr...

Gypsy~me~, Are there any alignment holes under the word "EXPLORER" ? I sprayed it with WD-40 and using a small thin piece of plastic have most of it loose. Just wondered it there would be holes in the tailgate, when I remove it? Thanks, OldGuy

SeattleSportTrac, Yes, they have a disclaimer at the bottom of their emails which prevented me from publishing their actual response... just in case they decide to go to court I didn't want to cloud my chances of winning big bucks! As an old manager I like to play by the corporate rules...

Now that I think about it I believe that Consumer Reports and AARP publications are better choices. Forbes is pretty upscale market! They don't run advertising for Fords and Chevys, more like Porches, Jaguar's and Mercedes! Most of their readers wouldn't tow a trailer with their Mercedes...

This is what I sent in response to the email I receive this morning! Karen, Thank-you for your prompt reply! I found a U-Haul competitor that would allow me to tow their products behind my Ford Explorer Sport Trac. In order to assist others I shall post that information on the Sport...
