    Good Bench Vise?

I have to second the Wilton's. I have two of the 6" models in different workshops, and so does my Dad. I have had a few different brands, and the Wilton's are by far the best yet.

    Any Master Masons out there?

Perpetual member of Stockbridge Lodge #691, Stockbridge, GA; since 1996 (app was in on my 21st B-Day). I have only heard of one black ball at a lodge in my life (from people I know anyway). They said that one was expected, so no turmoil from it. It is one of those things that is...

Custom Adrenalin Gen 2......( Well Concept adren)

That is one of the original prototypes isn't it? When they marketed it as a prototype that would have the 5.4 and be an SVT version? I like it and would take it... :)

    Salt Lake City

Great pics and glad you made it home safely! Wish I would have looked sooner that you were in town. When we first moved here, we thought it would just be a stepping stone to move on to somewhere else. 7 years and 4 promotion opportunities later, we are still here. We really enjoy this...

    Salt Lake City

LOL!!!! Yep... that's a typo!!! My wife said the only way I can have another is if the new wife has enough money to let her and I quit and the new wife work...

    Salt Lake City

I moved here in 2003 (West Jordan, southwest of downtown). Heard all the LDS stereotypical comments when moving here, but can honestly say I have yet to find anything that is of worry. From my understanding, the city was very controlled by the church and it had it's fingers in everything...

    ~ Nocturnal STA MODS!

Would you consider anything other than local for the wheel/tires? If so, I wouldn't mind talking to you about them. I have some easy ideas that would not be cumbersome for you.

    Double DIN in Gen II?

Not the best pics, but this is an Alpine IVA-W205 in my '07: I've since replaced it with an Alpine IVA-W505, but they are basically the same with the exception of screen layout and resolution. The pics are with the screen tilted out to match the contour of the dash bezel.

Car show at my Masonic lodge

Wish I was closer, but NJ is a little far to come from Salt Lake City. Sounds like it is going to be a very good time, Brother! :haveabeer:

    jetblue 171 cleared for takeoff.....

So a child repeated what his/her father said. Supervised by the parent (a trained controller), the parent's supervisor, and probably at least a dozen other people in the tower and control room watching the same things.... Yeah, I'm worried... :haveabeer: I can't believe this is even...

applying for my concealed license permit...

Utah does require the fingerprint cards. They are required on NFA items also, so the CCW fingerprints was not a big deal to me. Sounds about the same with the exception of the class costs. Mine was $50. Utah does not require range certification, but many of the instructors will want...

applying for my concealed license permit...

JD, Just curious, did you come to Utah and do the out of state license? I know a lot have done it because of the recipricating laws. I'm curious if there is a difference for in-state and out-of-state permits. In-state has to take the CCW class (about 5 hour class), fingerprints...

Need suggestions for a "snowy" winter vacation

Park City, Utah. Everything you are looking for. You can fly into a Salt Lake City (central hub airport, so it makes tickets cheaper a lot of times) and drive from there. Park City is a small town with the 'mountain' town feel to it - great for walking or shopping. Out by the interstate is...

    Gauge pod Installation?

I've got a modified Explorer Express kit on my '97 302. I used their kit to start with, then rebuit and ported the M90 and changed pulleys for a 9lb pulley. I've got an Eaton M112 sitting here with about half the fabrication done to put it on instead, just need time to finish it up one day...

    Gauge pod Installation?

I used the 2 pod with a single pod to make a three pod pillar. Fiberglassed it in. This is in my Explorer, but I have seen many others do it with the same pods.

    Sherlock Holmes

We saw SH tonight. Worth the money I thought and worth the money to add to the collection when it comes out. A sequel would be ok with me... Previews for us were The Book of Eli, IronMan2, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Chash of the Titans, and the Butler/Aniston movie. All the previews looked...

    Tide vs. Longhorns (Pick Em)

I'm just hoping for a good game. Both have reasons they could/should beat the other. If Texas plays like they did against Nebraska, we are in trouble. Hopefully McCoy will feel like he has something to prove since he didn't make his case for the Heisman. Gotta go with my home state...

    AR-15 question

You won't go wrong with the DPMS. I have a DPMS lower, and my AR-10 is built off a DPMS. I also have a Bushmaster and 3 Rock River lowers and have not had any fitment problems. For what AR's are going for, $699 isn't bad. What setup is it? AR's are an animal all to their own...
