Not the best pics, but this is an Alpine IVA-W205 in my '07: I've since replaced it with an Alpine IVA-W505, but they are basically the same with the exception of screen layout and resolution. The pics are with the screen tilted out to match the contour of the dash bezel.

Utah does require the fingerprint cards. They are required on NFA items also, so the CCW fingerprints was not a big deal to me. Sounds about the same with the exception of the class costs. Mine was $50. Utah does not require range certification, but many of the instructors will want...

JD, Just curious, did you come to Utah and do the out of state license? I know a lot have done it because of the recipricating laws. I'm curious if there is a difference for in-state and out-of-state permits. In-state has to take the CCW class (about 5 hour class), fingerprints...

I used the 2 pod with a single pod to make a three pod pillar. Fiberglassed it in. This is in my Explorer, but I have seen many others do it with the same pods.

You won't go wrong with the DPMS. I have a DPMS lower, and my AR-10 is built off a DPMS. I also have a Bushmaster and 3 Rock River lowers and have not had any fitment problems. For what AR's are going for, $699 isn't bad. What setup is it? AR's are an animal all to their own...
