So, today was a pretty good day for maintenance on the ol' ST. Got the air filter and fuel filter changed. As well as an oil change and a wash. :banana: I inspected my reverse light indicator switch on the tranny and looked like it had a good connection and was plugged in correctly. But alas...

Just installed my (new) seat. Out of an '01 Ex Sport. Man, does this make a huge difference. I sit so much higher. I guess the cushion in my old seat was so shot I sunk a few inches. Also, I can recline now! I don't have to hold the seat up with some jimmy rigged system. Now, I just have to get...

I have an idea of where I can find this switch, but my question is how is it accessed? does the tranny have to be dropped?

after poking around a while I found a new seat for the ST. Good thing too, mine is very worn and actually broken at the recline hinge. I have it propped up with a couple pieces of wood resting on the back seat that is in the down position. Can't wait to head up to the salvage yard and pick it up...

One way or another I seem to have broken the recline mech. on my driver side seat. My seat is in pretty bad condition. ie; the cushion is pretty torn up and it not very comfy anymore. Is there reason I should have the seat repaired? Or best to replace? any thoughts on cost for a new seat...

Can anyone point out how to check the fluid level or add fluid to the clutch master cylinder? I would like to check this and make sure I really need clutch service before committing to $1200 worth of repairs, when it may be that I just need some fluid in the master cylinder.

Yesterday morning I went out to drive to work. I noticed that the clutch pedal required substantially less pressure to press in. Tranny seems to be catching and shifting okay, although I am concerned that this may lead to a bigger problem. I have an '02 with about 99k. Maybe a fluid change?
