TomT, I thought the saying was: "Can't we all just hit a bong?"

Not when the sentence is used as a rhetorical dangling participle connotation mixed metaphor. I would expect YOU of all people should know this.

I could really care less what "list" you would like to put me on. Not as if it makes much of a difference.

I assume "R" continued his rants about us not wanting to see the "truth in data". I also assume that at one point, "R" was eating lunch and got an out-of-season apple and went on a "bad apple" tangent.

Come on Tiger - join the list. According to the other post, it's real short and the three of us on it need some help. I think a prerequisite though is a single character moniker. I guess I'll be G.

G out.

I'm sure I'm on it, how can I not be? I found it odd that "R" singled you guys out and not me. Oh wells. I need to go to the store...should I take the Ranger? Lincoln? F-150? Or should I just work on the project Ford in the shop....hmmmm. Yeah, I can see why Ford employees hate guys like me so much. Damn me and driveway full of Blue Ovals!

what time is it when you have to go to the dentist.......

tooth hurty... get it... MUAHAHAH.... my 5 year old told me that one last week.

Tiger,

What u don't own an Escort? All true FORD people have at least one in the driveway! My collection of FORDs wouldn't be the same without the little Escort GT.... (it has towed the Trac more times than i'm willing to admit publically)

Guess u bought the wrong Fords that's why they're not nice to you

Susan,

I have an Escort GT. My third one. 1989, 1992, and now a 1996. I also had a 1991 Mercury Tracer. I love those cars...

I have towed a few other cars with my 1992 GT. Some twice the size of my EGT was.

I'm not a fan of FWD. I despise FWD actually. Wouldn't really buy a FWD if I had too. I do like some FWD cars and have driven them plenty hard, which just solidifies why I don't like them. Too many of them understeer, especially during throttle-on driving. Doesn't help that I'm a huge fan of drifting, of which you just need a RWD car.

Come to think of it, I would buy a FWD car, some of those tuned Focii over in Europe would be be sweet. I'd still prefer a R/AWD car though.

This morning I wished my Trac had front wheel drive [FWD]. That inch of ice under the 4 inches of snow made for a bit of tire spinning. I have the LS dif, so both wheels spun. Tiger is right though, if you don't like some understeer, then don't get a FWD vehicle.

Good point, Bill. FWD is better then RWD for ice and snow (and in wet for the average driver), but not as good as AWD. Of course, I live in Ga, and in a part where snow and ice doesn't happen, so FWD doesn't do it for me.

Yeah you need a RWD and a trust fund for tires. I would like to learn how to do that but no trust fund and I'd have to find an older car that I could tear up without crying
