Good Movie

I hesitate to recommend this movie on such a "family oriented" site but Wedding Crashers was a very funny movie. My ribs still hurt from laughing so hard. Vince Vaughan was perfect and Owen Wilson did a great job playing off him.



To anyone here that has the slightest inclination that you may be offended by adult humor and language don't go, it will only confirm your superior moral standing.



If you have a sense of humor and can enjoy outrageous situational humor for what it is, go see this movie.

Yup, it goes down hill every time someone has something negative to say about those that believe differently........Diference betwen opinions and trash talking. I dont have a problem with what gets posted. No point in trash talking anyone.........

Fast Eddie--Just so you know, no, you're not the only one. I didn't feel it as a slam towards me--I don't fall in the group he was addressing--but yes, to me it did sound like an unnecessary cut at those who happen to not share the same sense of humor as him. The words he chose made it sound like he felt that if you happen to not like this movie, you're an arrogant snob.



That said, I can also see where it might not have been intended that way, that it might just be a poor selection of words, so I'm willing to give FKent the benefit of the doubt on it.

I guess I should have said if you are uptight then stay away. Is that clear enough for everyone? If my post touched a nerve then you are not the intended audience of this movie.



In case you were not aware, there was much uproar over the content of this movie. Sen McCain was slammed for making a cameo in it, James Carville was standing next to him making a cameo as well but he did not receive any Barbara Streisand over it. Veterens groups were upset over a 10 second bit about a purple heart.



There were many articles written by fine, upstanding moral elitists denegrating the movie.



The movie is rated R for strong language and content.



Since this is the good ole USA, as Fast Eddie pointed out, your opinion and my opinion are worth the same pile of horse crap on the side of the road. I love the first amendment argument being pulled out in every post these days.



That is were I am coming from. Now if you want to come on over and play "just the tip" we can be friends again.

This is what FastEddie was talking about, FKent. I don't think he would ever say you are not entitled to your opinion, but it's statements like these that might seem somewhat offensive to some. What these statements SEEM to say is, if you don't like the movie like I do, then you are uptight, a moral elitist, and think you are above everyone else.



Would you be the least bit offended if someone said, "For those of you who are still caught up in schoolyard potty humor, the degradation of women, and the promotion of one night stands and unmarried sex, which has led to the breakdown of family values and a society where morals hardly exist anymore, then by all means go see it, you are just the type of person who will love it!"?



Would you find that at all offensive? Maybe, maybe not. I guess it all depends on just how much weight you give to other people's opinions. That's why I wasn't offended.

FKent...Dont get me wrong, I do apprecite a warning about a movie that I may not want to see. Because I have a differnt set of morals, doesnt make me perfect or superior.

Yesterday was not a good day, ran into some simular issues.

Never was mad at you as a person, just struck by the cliche.
