Nothing like a few phone calls. Even tech support at MagnaFlow was a little unsure without digging into their drawings. But I think the 16606 is routed a little different, placing the muffler in a different location. The 16679 is specifically made for the ST due to being mounted under the bed. Sorry for the confusion.
