I agree 100% with Mike. it does not make a difference what weight oild you put in it. Ford has on all there new cars that they recomend a synthitic blend 5w-20. It don't mater if you live in Florida or Alaska. It still says 2w-20 on the cap and the books. I use 10w-30 all the time. And...
Mike if it were me I would take it in and get it flushed and filter change. Not just change the fluid in the pan. Unless your going to change the filter yourself and have it flushed. There is like 10.3 QTs of fluid in that trany. So there is only a half of the fluid in the pan.
I have had no problem with the windows in my '07. I would take it in and have it fixed. It may be a factory defect. Or the track may not be right or somthing is in the track.
I would get a second opinion. Just to make sure they are not trying to scam you. But don't tell the other people how one dealer said it needs to be replaced.
Strange thing is. When I was at Autozone we looked up the plugs for the V6 and it was the same. Autozone may have the wrong info. But yes I do have the V8. Sorry I should have added that.
