    Unbelievable gift!

Honestly as far as winches go, Warn is pretty much the leader...but with that comes about a $350 price tag + about a $60 mount. Personally on my previous bike I ran a "Traveller" brand 2500 lb. winch from Tractor Supply and built my own mount. I was quite suprised, I never had any issues...

    RIP Green Machine

Well guys, I never was one to post alot on here, but just wanted to say thank you for everything I've learned from this site. My ST was purchased by my grandma brand new with 75 miles on it in the summer of 2002. In 2009, it was handed down to me when I turned 16...I learned to love this...

    Door won't open

I want to say there is a linkage rod inside the door that you can adjust to fix this. It attaches the handle to the latch. It could be lose, but I'd bet that the clips attaching the two are worn out or cracked. Somebody with more knowledge'll probably chime in here pretty quick...

    Thanks folks!

Hal, I don't think I've been on these boards long enough to know ya, but congrats on the bigger tires! When it comes down to the ST, this is first place I turn to....always a wealth of information (from most, anyway) BTW, I'd recognize those ferries anywhere...good ol' Port Aransas...

    Window/door wiring issue

I had the same issue on mine. Windows would work when the door was only in a certain position. Ended up being a pinched wire in the door boot. I'd check that first. Slid the rubber boot(below the "canister") down and spliced in a jumper to give the wire some room to play. Not very...

    Upgraded, ST's Getting Passed Down

Well guys, I'm really enjoiying this new truck! It's a little harder to keep diesel in it, but once I learn to keep my foot out of the turbo and do some mods I should make out alright. Out of curiosity I looked behind the rear seat and was suprised to see a ProBox with a Kicker sub in it. Got...

    Upgraded, ST's Getting Passed Down

Well guys, after getting my license and driving the hand-me-down ST for 2 years, I finally upgraded to my dream truck. My dad snuck it out back and threw me the keys when I walked outside at my graduation party. I was quite speechless, to say the least. The new one is a 2004 6.0 Powerstroke...

    Ford Engine Dependability? 6.0/7.3/6.8

Well guys, I'm in the market for a bigger vehicle. Rode in the cousin's F350 and I'm hooked. While a diesel would be nice, it's expensive so I think might be better off in a V10. Although I still wonder...would I be better off in a gas V10 with worse gas mileage, or a 7.3/6.0 with better...

    Tinting Front Windows

The Trac in my library is 30% if that helps. I wanted to do 20, but not too sure if I would've liked it at night, plus cops around here like to pick out every little thing. I'd imagine that 35 would be too light for my tastes...but that's just me

    Sport Trac World Loss

Wow, this comes as quite a shock. Condolences to the family at this tough time. I followed all of John's work and considered buying another Trac to build up similar to his. I wish i would've been able to meet him and see his Trac up close. RIP John...You will be missed by many.

    ATV/Utility Trailer

Hello all. I figured Id get some opinions on sizing a used trailer. We bought 3 Honda Recon ATVs a while back, and need a way to move them back & forth to our riding area. I've been scanning craigslist trying to find something used within my budget (~$8-900) Here are the specs on the...

    Highest Mileage

250,000 mi here, on a 2002, had it since it had 7 miles on it. Been through a tranny rebuild, new water pump, & ball joints. Oil changes every 4000-4500 and she still runs like new. I'm goin' for 500,000  Crazy as it is, I'm still on the stock shocks though :smack:
