Yes it is a throttle by wire system. As far as the tech looking at the wiring,not sure,never stated that he did. I would agree with you, sounds like an electrical issue. I hate throwing parts and big $ at something and the problem not being resolved. :banghead:

Hi I own a 2009 STA. When driving all is good. when PARK is selected engine revs up to 3000 rpm play with throdle peddle a lil and seems to be ok. does it in neutral as well. any ideas what this could be? Steve

Hi, other than my 2009 STA I own a 2004 jeep Liberty. I noticed today that one of the two coiled wire contacts has become detached from the window. What can I use to stick this contact back on? Any input would be greatly apreciated thank Steve

09 STA, I recently put 18 inch steel rims and General Himalayan M+S tires on and the trac handles very well,,,,but like everyone else pointed out,,,,,,watch the throttle. steve:smile0008:
